Right before 2020 began God asked me a question during a Sunday School training, "but what would it look like to rejoice?"
It is a question I would find myself repeating a lot over the last 2 years.  What would it look like to rejoice during a pandemic?  What would it look like to rejoice as friends and family suffered sickness and loss?  What would it look like to rejoice in the hard times? 

 

Philippians 4:4 says, "Rejoice in the Lord always, and again, I say rejoice."  So I got with God alone in my prayer closet and wrote this song in response to His question.  No matter what happens - easy or hard - He alone will be praised.
